What We Did
On this job, the best path forward was not immediately apparent. The National Courthouse Consultants had a two story building that was originally a police headquarters. They came to us about the possibility of renovating the existing building, so our team did extensive research, conducting studies to help us – together with our client – make the best decision.
In the end, we agreed that a new building was necessary to meet the standards expected of the future program of the courthouse. Located in the National Historic District in Gretna, this courthouse is a state-of-the-art, 65,000 square foot building fits into its neighborhood while meeting the needs of our client. With modern facilities and amenities, this design and build was able to sustain the courthouse for years to come, while remaining under today’s budget constraints.
